GET A FRENCH CERTIFICATION

The Alliance Française Amsterdam is the only official examination centre for French language certifications in Amsterdam. We offer internationally-recognised diplomas for adults and teenagers (DELF, DALF, TCF, TEF & DFP exams) at all levels, allowing you to assess your level of proficiency in French according to the CECRL or gain a qualification to live, study or work in a French-speaking country.

Certifications in French such as the DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française), the TCF (Test de connaissance du Français) and the TEF (Test d'Evaluation de français) can be useful to you, since they assess your Listening and Reading skills, as well as your Speaking and Writing skills. These tests may be requested in different cases.

Why choose to GET A FRENCH CERTIFICATION AND WHICH ONE?

To STUDY IN FRANCE	If you want to study in France, but are not a French citizen, you will have to prove that you have an adequate level in French. The DELF diploma may be a requirement in French universities for a year of study abroad. The TCF may also be accepted in some cases. Check with your school or university as it depends on them.
To apply for the French nationality	The TCF IRN (Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité) or the TEF pour la naturalisation will allow you to apply (minimum level required: B1).

To EMIGRATE TO QUEBEC

There are two options for anyone, of any nationality or origin, who wishes to move permanently to Quebec: TCF Québec or TEF pour l'accès au Québec (TEFAQ).

TO EMIGRATE TO CANADA

You may take the TCF pour le Canada or TEF Canada.

TO Document YOUR LEVEL

The DELF-DALF, the TCF Tout Public and the TEF allow you to prove your level in French, in order to highlight it on a CV for example.

In order to help our learners achieve their goals, the Alliance Française Amsterdam has partnered with GlobalExam, an online solution for language tests preparation, including the DELF DALF (up to C1 level) and the TCF.

We believe that learning languages with a teacher is fundamental. On the other hand, test training still requires repetition on typical exercises to become familiar with the structure of the exam and the questions asked. That is why we think that an online solution is an excellent addition to your language journey, especially to obtain a certification.

The GlobalExam solution allows you to train with typical exercises and obtain a detailed correction with suggested answers.

To practise in actual test conditions, the exercises are timed. Your statistics are automatically saved to allow you to track your progress. To complete your training, vocabulary and grammar sheets are available.

You may also book a package with tutoring hours to have contact with a teacher during your exam preparation.
