Les SOIREEs KINO-FIL
The Alliance Française Amsterdam and the Goethe-Institut Niederlande are starting a new partnership! The idea for this collaboration is born out of a desire to unite curious minds and enrich intercultural dialogue through cinema in the heart of a European city, Amsterdam.
Every last Tuesday of the month, a screening will take place based on the greatest films that have marked the history of cinema in France and in Germany. There will first be a French proposal which will then receive a German response the following month. A theme or a chronology will mark the link between the two pieces.
The film chosen will have been selected or nominated by one of the major French or German film festivals: the Cannes Film Festival, the César Awards, the Berlinale or the Deutscher Filmpreis.

At the International Film Festival in Rotterdam, the Alliance Française Amsterdam met the French director Jérémie Périn at the beginning of February 2024, when his new film Mars express was released in the Netherlands.
A great opportunity to delve into the world of French animation and its export abroad.
